Calhanoglu steals show as Inter continue title celebration with win against Torino
Inter continued their Scudetto title celebration with a 2-0 win over Torino, with Hakan Calhanoglu stealing the show with a brace.
The Nerazzurri, basking in the glory of their recent title win, faced Torino in a match marked by history as Serie A saw its first all-female refereeing team officiating the game.
Despite Torino’s initial bright start, including attempts by Ricardo Rodriguez and Duvan Zapata, it was Inter who struck first.
Adrien Tameze’s challenge on Henrikh Mkhitaryan resulted in a VAR-assisted red card, and Hakan Calhanoglu capitalized on the advantage, slotting home a half-volley.

Moments later, Marcus Thuram was fouled in the box, allowing Calhanoglu to convert from the penalty spot and double Inter’s lead.
Although Torino made efforts to return to the game, including chances for Davide Frattesi and Nicolò Barella, they couldn’t find a way past Inter’s defense.
