Barcelona to bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong
Barcelona are reportedly preparing an opening offer for Bayer Leverkusen’s sensational right-back Jeremie Frimpong.
The player is seen as a top target for new manager Hansi Flick.
Frimpong, who enjoyed a stellar 2023/24 season with Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, has caught the eye of several top clubs.
Flick also sees the Dutch international as a better option to Joao Cancelo, who might still return to Barcelona later in the summer.

According to Sport, Barcelona plan to offer €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Frimpong.
Although Leverkusen’s release clause for the player is reportedly €40 million, Barcelona are hopeful about their chances negotiating a lower fee.
The Catalan club are keen to balance their financial books and return to La Liga’s 1:1 financial ratio by July 1.
Football Espana reveals this would facilitate their summer signings.
