Meet the 73-year-old Nigerian woman who stays fit by weightlifting and boxing

A 73-year-old Nigerian woman named Mrs. Roseline Umar shows off her workout routine, defies age by maintaining her fitness through weightlifting and boxing.

In a widely shared video, Mrs. Umar discussed how her workout regimen makes her feel like she has the body of a younger woman during an interview with the BBC.

She mentioned her enjoyment of bench pressing and humorously warned people not to mess with her, as she also knows boxing.

Initially, her goal was to lose weight and alleviate joint pain that disrupted her sleep. After consulting with a doctor, she was advised to go to the gym and lose at least 10 kilos.

For the past 16 years, Mrs. Umar has been waking up at 6 am every day, five days a week, to hit the gym, and she has no plans of stopping anytime soon. She emphasized the importance of regular exercise and encouraged everyone to give it a try.
