Nigerian singer Rema shared his challenges growing in the music industry during his just-released second album’s listening party.

You may recall that the renowned singer released his second studio album, “HEIS” today, July 11th, stirring mixed reactions amongst netizens.

During the album’s listening party in Lagos, Rema revealed that he had to keep his life and everything about him private because he was really in a dark place.

According to him, people keep saying he changed but he didn’t. He only learned. Approaching the music industry as a 19-year-old was challenging as people expected him to grow up so quickly, forgetting that he is also a human being prone to mistakes.
