AMUWO-ODOFIN Unites for Green Initiative

Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, under the leadership of Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, Executive Chairman, today celebrated the Lagos State Tree Planting Day with a vibrant event at 4th/512 Avenue Primary School in Festac.

The program aligns with the state’s theme, “Nurture Our Future,” emphasizing the importance of environmental investment for future generations. The event aimed to promote community engagement, sustainability, and a greener Lagos.

The event featured a ceremonial tree planting exercise led by Engr. Dr. Buraimoh

Residents, and local officials gathered to plant trees, pledge their commitment to environmental responsibility.

“We are dedicated to creating a greener, healthier Festac for future generations. Let us nurture our future by planting trees and taking care of our environment.” The Executive Chairman explained in his speech.

The event was a resounding success, demonstrating the administration of Engr. Valentine’s enthusiasm for environmental initiatives.
