“Stop fake news” – Osimhen’s agent denies loan move to Chelsea for Napoli star
Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has dismissed rumours of a potential loan move for the Nigeria and Napoli striker.
Addressing the speculation, Calenda stated, “I read about ‘fantasy exchanges’ with Victor… as if he was a package to be delivered quickly.
“This package is the top scorer of the third Scudetto in the history of Napoli. Respect and stop fake news!”
Reports on Tuesday suggested Chelsea and Napoli are in advanced discussions for a season-long loan of Osimhen, with Romelu Lukaku moving in the opposite direction.

Chelsea, eager to offload Lukaku, has set a transfer fee of £37 million but has yet to find a suitable buyer.
Napoli, keen on reuniting Lukaku with former coach Antonio Conte, has emerged as the primary suitor.
The Belgian forward, who previously clinched the Serie A title with Conte at Inter Milan in 2021, has agreed to a pay cut and a three-year contract with Napoli, contingent on Osimhen’s departure.
Chelsea, however, is not inclined to pay Osimhen’s hefty £110 million release clause and are instead, reportedly negotiating a loan deal with an option to buy.
