GTCO Boosts Vocational Training in Amuwo-Odofin with Equipment Donation

In a significant boost to vocational training in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTCO) has donated state-of-the-art skill acquisition equipment to the council as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) impact initiative.

The equipment, presented to the Executive Chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, is aimed at resuscitating the vocational center in the Abule-Ado axis of the local government. The center when reopened will offer training in various skills, including fashion design, hair dressing, textile making etc.

Engr. Dr. Buraimoh praised GTCO for its commitment to social responsibility, stating that the equipment will greatly benefit the community. “This donation is a game-changer for us. It will enable us to provide quality training and empower our youths to become self-sufficient.”

The GTCO team highlighted the bank’s dedication to making a positive impact in communities. “We believe in empowering people to improve their lives. This equipment will go a long way in helping the good people of Amuwo-Odofin acquire valuable skills.”

The resuscitated vocational center is expected to benefit hundreds of youths and indigent individuals in the community, providing them with a pathway to economic empowerment.
