EPL: Manchester United cruise past Southampton in dominant 3-0 display
Manchester United sealed a comfortable 3-0 win over Southampton, with Alejandro Garnacho delivering a late goal to seal the win.
Garnacho’s right-footed strike from the center of the box in the 96th minute, assisted by Diogo Dalot, ensured United’s triumph at St. Mary’s.
The match saw Southampton struggle after a red card for Jack Stephens in the 79th minute, leaving them down to ten men.
United capitalized on their advantage, keeping control throughout the game. Garnacho had an earlier shot blocked, but his persistence paid off in stoppage time with a clinical finish.

Marcus Rashford had already doubled United’s lead with a powerful strike from outside the box in the 41st minute.
His effort followed an opening goal from Matthijs de Ligt, who headed home Bruno Fernandes’ corner in the 35th minute.
Southampton had a chance to pull one back in the first half when Tyler Dibling won a penalty, but Cameron Archer’s spot-kick was saved, marking a missed opportunity for the Saints.
