Reece James return delayed as Chelsea reintegrate Chilwell to team squad
Reece James will see a delay in his return to Chelsea training after it was confirmed his injury has taken longer than anticipated.
The defender’s latest hamstring injury has reportedly not healed as well as expected after he got crocked again in the summer, and the club medical team have now put his comeback on hold, according to SunSport.
The Chelsea captain has endured a long run of hamstring issues in the past couple of years.
While he played regularly on the summer tour of the US, he returned to the sidelines again shortly after and is yet to play a single minute this season.

Concerns now mount as the area affected has not recovered as quickly as they had expected.
Meanwhile, Ben Chilwell is back in training with Chelsea first squad as was confirmed by coach Enzo Maresca in a recent interview.
Recall Maresca had said Chilwell was training apart from his squad, as it was “impossible” to give him minutes.
“With Chilly, he is a lovely guy but he will struggle,” the Italian manager said in an interview.
However, Chelsea’s inability to find a club for the player has led to his reintegration to the squad until the next transfer window.
