Ten Hag hints “lifestyle” affected Rashford’s recent form for Manchester United
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has hinted that Marcus Rashford’s recent struggles on the pitch may be linked to his lifestyle.
Ten Hag in a recent interview, as disclosed by Fabrizio Romano, said, “I think he always knew, and every player knows how important lifestyle is.
“When your lifestyle is not right, you can’t perform,” the Dutch manager added.
Rashford, who scored twice in United’s 7-0 win over Barnsley in the midweek, had been underperforming in recent matches.

However, his strong showing in the Carabao Cup outing where Alejandro Garnacho and Christian Eriksen also bagged braces, has sparked optimism about his return to form.
“You don’t get the right levels when you don’t have a good and disciplined life away from Carrington,” Ten Hag alluded.
With Rashford’s contribution in the Cup which guarantees them a fourth round place, Ten Hag remains hopeful of further improvements.
