Dr. Becky Enenche, wife of Pastor Paul Enenche and co-founder of Dunamis International Gospel Centre stirs discussions online with her remarks about the importance of consistent tithe payment.

In a statement attributed to her, Dr. Enenche emphasized that tithe payment must be done consistently to remain valid in the presence of God.

According to the pastoress in a viral video, failure to be consistent with contributions to the Lord’s house leads to setbacks in life.

“Paying of tithes must be done consistently. Anytime you miss paying your tithe, you will return back to square one. All the other tithes you’ve paid become deleted and completely nullified,” she stated.

The comment has sparked mixed reactions from Nigerians and the broader Christian community. While some members of her congregation and other supporters agree with her stance, others have criticized the notion, questioning its biblical basis.

While it cannot be confirmed if the video was recent or old, Dunamis International Gospel Centre has yet to officially comment further on the statement.

Reactions trailing Pastor Eneche’s wife’s comment on tithe

DaNn_Snr noted: “These modern day pastors have misinterpreted the true readings…most of them preach based on inspiration and their intuition not as it is written.”

Tooshugary4U opined: “The church members will learn and they’ll learn it the hardest way if they continue to listen to their pastors.”

ema4yo added: “Everyday, I keep seeing reasons not to go to church.”

IEmmanWilson reacted: “Then the king will say come o blessed of my father, for I was hungry you gave me food, I was thirsty you gave me drink. Jesus never mentioned paying your tithe. But kindness to one another, Your deeds to one another is what matters not tithe. Matthew 26: 34-45.”
