Vendor shocked as friend and boyfriend conspire to have her arrested over washing machine sale
A Nigerian vendor expressed shock after her friend and boyfriend connived to have her arrested over the purchase of a washing machine she sold to them.
This was shared in a video she posted on her TikTok page, where she narrated the sad incident.

She mentioned that her friend, whom she has known for several years, recently sent her a message asking for the price of a washing machine, as she was interested in buying one.
Although the initial price was above ₦100,000, her friend persuaded her to reduce the price, which she did. The money was sent to her, and the delivery was made on Monday.
When the lady handed over the washing machine, the friend insisted that it was not the one she had ordered, and demanded a refund.
The lady explained that she wouldn’t be able to refund the money, as she had already used it, and also that the same washing machine was delivered to her.
Despite her explanation, the friend called her boyfriend, who became upset on the phone and unexpectedly brought police officers to her house to arrest her.
The lady expressed her shock at how a friend she had known for years could bring police officers to her house over a misunderstanding regarding a washing machine.
She said in part: “They brought police to my house. They’re some friends who don’t deserve you. You didn’t even think about the good things I’ve done for you. Is it when I told you to follow me to the market and I paid for our transport fare and still bought something for you?”
In the video, the lady expressed her shock, and as her post went viral, concerned individuals flooded the comment section to share their thoughts.
