“I can’t marry such person, his wife tried” – Lady ridicules Nkubi, wife
A young Nigerian lady comes under fire after making derogatory remarks about the family of comic actor Victor Udochukwu Nwaogu, popularly known as Nkubi.
Nkubi had shared a heartwarming Christmas photo with his wife and child, prompting an outpouring of goodwill from fans and followers.
However, one comment stood out for its insensitivity; lambasting Nkubi’s wife for choosing him despite his physical appearance.
The lady identified as Obianuju Benita Anekwe wrote in a Facebook post:
“Nkubi’s wife tried not just by marrying him but also birthing a child. I personally can’t marry such a person for my kids’ sake. The anxiety that would come with the pregnancy based on the fact that the child might end up inheriting more of the father’s genes won’t be funny.
“Forget, I am not sure there’s anyone that wouldn’t be bothered about having a midget as a child no matter how much you claim to love the father. Plus I wouldn’t want to be the reason my child will be bullied most of the time. It’s also possible she did prenatal testing while pregnant.
“Being married to such a person would also make you walk on eggshells because most of your actions will likely be misunderstood, especially if you married one with low self-esteem, which majority of them suffer from. She really tried.”
The comment sparked outrage among Nkubi’s fans and social media users, who condemned the lady for her insensitivity and discriminatory language.
Many applauded Nkubi’s wife for her love and courage, celebrating the couple’s happiness and urging others to respect their union.
