Lady accuses 4 Rivers police officers of assault.

This was revealed in a lengthy video shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where she narrated the heartbreaking incident and called on the Rivers State Police Command to intervene.

In the video, she explained that the encounter began when she was stopped by officers traveling in a white Hilux vehicle.

One of the officers shone a torchlight directly into her eyes, and she politely asked him to lower it as it was causing her discomfort.

However, her request allegedly triggered the officer’s anger, leading to her being beaten and injured in the ear.

In her words: “Rivers State Police, come and see what the policemen did to me. It happened tonight; there were four of them in a white Hilux. They slapped me and asked me to come down from the car. When I asked the officer to lower the torchlight flashing in my eyes, they started beating me.”

She continued: “Look at my ear; look at what they did to me. My earrings are missing. I was begging and shouting for help. It was night, so I couldn’t record them. I didn’t do anything wrong. I don’t smoke or drink, and I didn’t provoke them. I was just passing when they stopped me.”

They claimed they wanted to search me but started slapping me instead. One of them hit my ear, and the pain is unbearable. I couldn’t even record them because they kept attacking me. I did nothing to deserve this treatment.”

As the video gained traction online, concerned individuals flooded the comment section to express outrage and demand justice for her ordeal.
