Lagos-based NYSC corps member, Raye shares insights on the recent MTN data price hike, offering solutions to navigate the increase.
It’s worth noting that MTN recently increased their data plan prices, sparking widespread criticism from subscribers, citing the country’s economic challenges.
Earlier, Raye’s remarks about the NYSC monthly allowance and Nigeria’s economic challenges made headlines, garnering support from prominent dignitaries and human rights activists.
In a video posted online, Raye urged MTN users to issue complaints via email to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
According to the Lagos-based corps member, she discarded her MTN Wi-Fi due to the price hike, while expressing her desire to speak out for youth empowerment.
“I’m going to lend my voice to empower us as a youth. Aside from the rant, I’ve been bombarding the right department that are handling this with a lot of emails”, She stated.
Addressing backlash regarding her advocacy, she revealed that she is a vlogger and content creator, probing trolls over refusal to advocate for change.
“I use to be a normal girl that was just doing content. I can’t turn my back on what I actually love.If you geniuely care for me, you will not bash me and start pushing me to my doom”, She added.
