“Menopause hasn’t reached me yet” – British woman addresses those age shaming her for marrying young Nigerian man
British woman who got married to a young Nigerian man has reacted to claims that she is old and is in her menopause.
The British woman identified as Mama Yara Naija slammed social media critics claiming her Nigerian husband married her for documents.
According to the British woman, she is still in her fertile years and also living happily with her husband emphasizing that she is not in her menopause phase yet.
“You say I’m old, well actually, I’m perfectly within my prime years. You say I’m rejected, well actually, since the age of 15 I’ve only been single for 8 months after my divorce, then I met Chief, so who is being rejected,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Monday, April 21.

Some, like myself and my husband. are building a life together, expanding our family and bringing them all together to be happy and united. I may not be in my twenties anymore but I am still within my lovable, happy and fertile years.
“Menopause has not come for me yet and won’t be coming any time soon. Thank you very much to those that love and support us. I don’t particularly like addressing negativity but sometimes we have to speak up to teach an important lesson to those that need it peace and love.”
