Chelsea have slapped a £50 million (€55–60m) asking price on Nicolas Jackson amid growing interest from both Juventus and an unnamed Premier League club, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Jackson, who joined the Blues from Villarreal for £32m in 2023, had a mixed campaign last season, scoring 17 goals in all competitions but managing just one Premier League goal after January.

His form has seen further criticism following two red cards in his last five appearances, including one in Chelsea’s Club World Cup defeat to Flamengo.

The 24-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge is now under review, with the club reportedly placing more faith in new £30m signing Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.

Delap, who outscored Jackson last season despite playing for a relegated side, started ahead of the Senegalese in the Club World Cup.

Juventus have reportedly opened preliminary talks with Chelsea, but are reluctant to meet the steep valuation and may go for alternative targets unless the West London club revise their stance.

Meanwhile, a Premier League rival is monitoring the situation, though it identity remains undisclosed.

Despite Jackson’s dip in form and disciplinary issues, Flamengo manager Filipe Luis remains optimistic about his potential: “He’s so good, he’s young, he has all the potential… he can be one of the biggest strikers in the world.”
