Man raises concerns about widow facing imprisonment following her husband’s death
Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, has raised concerns over a young widow on the verge of imprisonment.
According to Harrison Gwamnishu’s Facebook post, the young widow’s husband was a vigilante who was shot and later died in the hospital.
However, her in-laws accused her of involvement in his death, leading to her detention for 7 days alongside a friend.
An autopsy conducted on her husband’s corpse proved her innocence.
Despite being cleared, the widow faces a lawsuit for burglary and theft after being thrown out of her husband’s house by her in-laws.
However, Gwamnishu continues to highlight potential injustices and demand fair treatment.
