Sales rep steals boss’s money, rents apartment, feeds friends with stolen goods
A Nigerian businesswoman has exposed her sales rep for allegedly stealing a large sum of money from her business, using the funds to rent an apartment, and also looting goods from the shop to feed herself and her friends.
This was revealed in a video shared on TikTok by user sure_queen_jeminelkids, where a voice narrates how the incident unfolded.
According to the narration, the young lady had walked into the shop to ask for a job.
The businesswoman, who had been searching for a sales girl for some time, asked who referred her, but the lady said no one did—she was simply looking for work.
The businesswoman admitted she didn’t know the girl but decided to give her a chance after the girl met with her granddaughter.
Over time, suspicions grew. The businesswoman decided to visit the address provided by the sales rep.
When she got there, the grandmother directed her to another house where the girl actually resided.
To her shock, it was discovered that the sales rep had been working with a friend who regularly came to the shop pretending to be a customer, collecting goods without payment.
These stolen items were stored in the apartment the sales rep had secretly rented with the money she stole from her boss.
“She confessed that she used the stolen money to rent the apartment,” the voice in the video says. “They found all the goods from the shop inside the house. There were other guys living there too, and they were all eating from what the girl had been stealing.”
