Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan  denied entry to the National Assembly premises in Abuja on July 22, 2025.

Recall that Natasha Akpoti was suspended for six months over alleged “unparliamentary conduct” following her accusation of sexual harassment against senate president, Godswill Akpabio.

A now-viral video captures security operatives stopping Natasha Akpoti’s vehicle from entering the National Assembly premises, but she later walked into the complex alongside her supporters.

This comes after a Federal High Court in Abuja ruled her suspension excessive and ordered her recall.

However, the senate claims there’s no enforceable court order mandating her reinstatement and has cautioned her to stay away.

Additionally, Akpoti-Uduaghan was found guilty of contempt of court and ordered to pay a ₦5 million fine and issue a public apology.
