Galatasaray eye PSG Goalkeeper Donnarumma
Galatasaray are reportedly plotting an ambitious move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as the Italian’s contract situation at the French club becomes increasingly uncertain.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Turkish giants are keen to sign a high-profile shot-stopper this summer and have already explored moves for AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, Inter Milan’s Yann Sommer, and Manchester City’s Ederson.
Donnarumma, whose deal with PSG runs until June 2026, is now on their radar.
However, the Ligue 1 champions are reportedly reluctant to maintain his current €12 million per year salary, potentially opening the door for a departure, either this summer or on a free transfer next year.
Galatasaray are hoping that a marquee signing like Donnarumma, following their reported €75 million agreement for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, would further elevate the club’s profile.
However, competition for the Italy international’s signature remains fierce.
Clubs such as Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Juventus are also monitoring the situation, making a move to Istanbul less likely should Donnarumma opt to leave Paris.
