Doctor denied permission amid medical crisis, reportedly passes away after 72 working hours
A doctor has shared how his colleague passed away after working non-stop for 72 hours, demanding justice over the incident.
The doctor, identified as The Bearded Dr. Sina on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that prior to the colleague’s death, he sought permission to seek medical attention, which was denied.
According to The Bearded Dr. Sina, the doctor was a surgery resident who recently commenced post-NYSC and passed away after working continuously for 72 hours.
Furthermore, the doctor demanded the government’s intervention and stakeholders investigation into the incident, citing the need for justice.

A Doctor was overworked in an extreme inconsiderate toxic system. He was denied time to rest, he was stretched to work for 72 hours.
While he was resting after, he was said to have later died.He was a Surgery resident and was just starting post NYSC..
