A Nigerian pastor has caused a stir after publicly advising a church member not to go ahead with his planned wedding in January 2026, claiming that the woman he intends to marry is not his destined partner.
In a video circulating online, the cleric cautioned the young man that proceeding with the marriage could lead to life-changing consequences within three months.
Cleric warns groom of alleged hidden past
The pastor alleged that the woman has three children from previous relationships and accused her family of deliberately concealing the information from the groom-to-be.
He advised the man to confront the bride about the claims, and if she denied it, to bring her to him for clarification.
“That woman is not your wife. Cancel it,” he declared, urging the groom to return to the church for prayers to reveal his true wife.
