Man recalls how father was vindicated after being accused of $864K fraud at his bank in 1986
Man appreciates his father for his integrity as he narrates how he was vindicated after being accused of $864K fraud at a bank where he worked in 1986.
The man @KingDavidOke took to X to publicly celebrate his father’s act of integrity during his lifetime as a young banker in the 80s.
@KingDavidOke
He revealed that his father used to work for the Nigerian American Merchant bank until he was accused of fraud to the tune of $864K in 1986.
Following the accusation, he was taken from Alagbon to Geneva where he was once again tried in court.
After his court hearing in Geneva his case was dismissed as the judge found that his statement in Switzerland and in Nigeria were the very same.
The man stated that the judge found him innocent because no guilty man ever writes the exact same statement twice.
His words …
“My Dad worked for Nigerian American Merchant Bank. In 1986, He was arrested for a fraud of $864000 in his bank and was taken from Alagbon to Geneva for the High Court hearing. His case was dismissed because his statement in alagbon was the same thing he wrote in Switzerland.
The judge found him innocent because in his year of practice, no guilty man has ever written the same statement word for word.
He wasn’t involved in the fraud, He’s a man of integrity and so are so many Fathers including yours.
This is a father appreciation post.
