Goals from Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal secured La Roja’s first European title since 2012.

Early in the game, England’s John Stones made a crucial block against Nico Williams, and Declan Rice narrowly avoided conceding a penalty.

Spain struck first shortly after halftime when Lamine Yamal set up Nico Williams for a close-range finish.
Substitute and Chelsea star Cole Palmer equalised just two minutes after coming in.
However, Spain regained the lead in the 86th minute. Oyarzabal completed a well-coordinated move, assisted by Marc Cucurella.
England’s last-minute attempts to equalize were thwarted by Unai Simon and Dani Olmo’s defensive efforts, securing Spain’s 2-1 victory and the Euro 2024 title.
