Man Utd 1-1 FC Twente: Eriksen’s error costs Red Devils in Europa League opener
Manchester United were once again left ruing missed opportunities as they drew 1-1 with FC Twente in their Europa League opener.
Despite dominating much of the match, Erik ten Hag ‘sside failed to capitalize on their chances, with a crucial error by Christian Eriksen gifting Twente an equalizer.

United took the lead in the 35th minute through a stunning strike from Eriksen, following a loose ball in the box after Diogo Dalot’s challenge.
However, the Red Devils failed to press their advantage, much like their recent performance against Crystal Palace.
Eriksen’s mistake in the 67th minute allowed Twente’s Sam Lammers to steal possession and slot the ball past Andre Onana at the near post, leveling the match and frustrating the home side.
