Manchester United struggled to a 4-2 win against bottom-placed Sheffield United, with Bruno Fernandes playing a crucial role in their comeback.

Despite trailing twice during the match, Fernandes’ brace, including a penalty, and a long-range strike took, with Rasmus Hojlund’s late goal, gave United the win.

The victory comes as a relief for Erik ten Hag’s side, following recent struggles and a close call against Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final.

Alejandro Garnacho and Diogo Dalot then pushed to pressure their visitors’ defense, but it was Harry Maguire who scored the equalizer before halftime.

In the second half, Sheffield regained the lead through Ben Brereton Diaz.

It was followed by a controversial penalty decision in United’s favour, which Fernandes converted from the spot, leveling the score once again.

Fernandes then gave his side the lead for the first time in the game with a stunning long-range effort.

A late goal from Hojlund secured the victory for United, reducing the pressure on ten Hag and providing a much-needed boost in their pursuit of European qualification.
