AMUWO-ODOFIN JOINT ENVIRONMENT TASK FORCE STRIKES AGAIN. DISLODGE ILLEGAL USE OF THE ENVIRONMENT

The environment task force ably led by its chairman, Hon. Gbenga Nathaniel Akinbinu is not relenting on ensuring that the mandate to recapture the glory days of the environs of Amuwo-Odofin as directed by the council chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh is upheld embarked another round of enforcement and dislodging illegal use of the environs.

According to Hon. Akinbinu he said, “We will not relent, the mandate must be accomplished. Our neighborhood must be safe, secure and conducive for living and doing business. I just ask that residents cooperate with us by not accommodating those who will not adhere to our campaign for a cleaner environment”.

Amongst the enforcement exercise carried out includes, demolition of illegal structures and advocacy for environmental sanitation across the markets.
