Napoli delivered a stunning 6-1 win over Sassuolo, with Victor Osimhen’s hat-trick and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia’s brace stealing the show.

Osimhen has now scored five goals in three games since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

The win marked Francesco Calzona’s first victory as Napoli’s coach, in contrast with a nightmare start for Sassuolo’s interim coach Emiliano Bigica.

Sassuolo took the lead with a Uros Racic strike. However, Napoli quickly responded with an equalizer from Amir Rrahmani, followed by two rapid-fire goals from Osimhen to turn the tide in their favour.

Osimhen completed his hat-trick early in the second half, and handed the baton to Kvaratskhelia.

Kvaratskhelia added to Sassuolo’s woes, capitalizing on defensive errors to extend Napoli’s lead.

He further extended his tally with a second goal, to give Napoli the dominant win.
