CSR: Nigerdock hands over projects to council chairman and host community.

The 3rd of April will continue to remain remarkable for the people of Igbologun community in Amuwo-Odofin local government with Nigerdock rolling out the carpet inviting all and sundry to the commissioning of the several corporate social responsibility initiatives which includes the commissioning of the ultramodern junior and senior secondary school situated in Igbologun, a riverine community in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government.

The Chairman/CEO Nigerdock, Mr Maher Jarmakani expressed his gratitude to the local government chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh for promoting a systemic enabling environment that accomodates Corporate Social Responsiblity initiatives in ways that enhance society and nurture charitable acts across the local government.

Mr. Jarmakani also said that Nigerdock is particular about the welfare of the host community and will continue to initiate infrastructural projects and promote social economic growth.

The council chairman, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh in his speech expressed his joy and profound gratittude to the organization for the audacious projects and its commitment to fruition during his adminstration.

The council mayor seized the opportunity to mention that 208 classrooms have been rehabilitated across the local government under his watch as council chairman.

While asking other corporate organizations to emulate Nigerdock by undertaking projects in the interest of their host community, he appealed to all stakeholders in the community to take ownership of the projects by protecting and maintaining the facilities.

Conclusively, the council chairman thanked the Ministry of Basic and Secindary Education under the leadership of Hon. Jamiu Alli-Balogun for the excellent supervisory role played to esuring that the ultramodern projects were in accordance with global best practices.

The climax of the event was the presentation of Atunluse of Igbologun community award to Mr Maher Jarmakani by the baale of Igbologun, the tour of school building facilities and commissioning of the new Igbologun police station.
