The pressure on Mauricio Pochettino mounts as the Chelsea boss hints a sour relationship with the club’s directors.

Chelsea have suffered humiliating defeats in their last two games, one against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final.

The second came against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, where they were thumped 5-0, after a lackluster performance.

The result of the Arsenal game leaves Chelsea stagnated in the Premier League ninth spot, with slim chances of any European football.

Meanwhile, ahead of their match against Aston Villa on Saturday, Pochettino hints a love lost between him and Chelsea chiefs.

According to a post by sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, when Pochettino was asked about having the trust of the directors, he said, “That’s a good question for them if you have the opportunity to ask them”.

“If we are [considered] responsible, we are responsible. But maybe we are not responsible. I don’t know what they are thinking.”

His statement has raised reactions by some Chelsea supporters who think his days maybe numbered.
