Tensions flared between Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah during Liverpool’s match against West Ham, with the duo involved in a heated touchline argument.

Salah, who was dropped from the starting lineup for the game, was visibly frustrated as he exchanged words with his coach Klopp.

The row happened after he was brought on as a substitute following West Ham’s equalizer.

The Egyptian forward appeared to express disagreement with Klopp’s instructions, leading to the heated exchange of words between the two.

However, Darwin Nunez quickly intervened to calm the situation as Salah gestured angrily at Klopp.

The altercation comes amidst a challenging period for the supposed title contenders, following recent defeats to Everton and Crystal Palace, as well as elimination from the Europa League.

The clash at the London Stadium saw the Hammers go in front first, courtesy of a 30th minute goal by Jarrod Bowen.

The Reds then made an early second half equalizer through Andy Robertson.

Not long after, Liverpool completed a comeback with an own goal by Alphonse Areola.

But West Ham would not go down without a fight, as they rallied for an equalizer, and ultimately succeeded in the 77th minute through Michail Antonio’s goal, with assist from Bowen.

Although Klopp will leave Anfield by the end of the season, his team are under pressure as the Premier League title continues to look impossible for them, giving recent run of form.
