Basketmouth celebrates son’s 16th birthday, AY Makun reacts
Nigerian comedian and actor Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth has taken to social media to mark his son, Jason’s 16th birthday today.
He posted a collection of photos capturing moments with his son, including both recent and throwback snapshots.

He suggested that May 9th be recognized as a public holiday in Nigeria to celebrate his son’s birthday. Referring to Jason as his “everything,” he expressed his deep love for him.
In his words: “On this day, 16yrs ago…a king was born. In actual fact, May 9th should be declared a public holiday. Hold on let me talk to the Federal Government. This is totally wrong. Happy Birthday Jason, you’re my everything! Wishing you a happy and memorable birthday. Love you son.”
In response to the post, AY Makun, formerly a rival in the comedy scene, extended birthday wishes to Jason and prayed for God’s guidance in his future endeavors.
He wrote: “Happy birthday, Jason . May God’s grace continue to light your path, guiding you towards a future filled with success and contentment”
