After a recent loss to Serbia, ranked 10th in the FIBA World rankings, D’Tigress aims to regain momentum against Japan.
In their game against Serbia, D’Tigress fell 70-62, despite a late rally that saw them winning the last quarter. This loss followed an earlier defeat by Germany.
The team, now in Lille, are focused and determined to represent Nigeria.
They will face a challenging Group B in the Olympics, going up against powerhouses like Australia (ranked 3rd), Canada (ranked 5th), and hosts France (ranked 7th).
