A Nigerian man got emotional like a baby when an Uber driver he hired discovered through his surname that his late father had funded the driver’s education.

The man shared this story on his page via the popular social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the post, he revealed that he had hired an Uber driver who, upon noticing his surname, asked some questions.

The driver then mentioned that his father had paid for his schooling, enabling him to obtain an education degree.

Hearing this, the man became emotional and burst into tears, overwhelmed by his father’s good deeds.

Sharing the experience on his social media page, he wrote: “After I made a transfer to my Uber driver and he saw my surname, he asked if my dad used to head a certain bank. When I confirmed that was true, he told me how my father funded the school he attended and made his education possible.”

“Even beyond the grave, this man’s deeds find me. And now I’m crying like a newborn, yearning for a man who has been gone five years.”

“They tell you it gets easier. I don’t know that it’s true. I do know that all I want for Christmas is to dance with my father again.”
