Olori Naomi’s mother pleads to affected parents, begs for daughter’s release
Olori Naomi‘s mother continues to make a heartfelt plea to parents who lost their children at a recent funfair tragedy, urging them to forgive her family and calling for her daughter’s release.
During a live Instagram session with media personality Daddy Freeze, she expressed deep regret and emphasized that the incident was unintentional.
This came following her solo appeal to the family of the victims, urging the authorities to realise her daughter after being charged with ‘accelerated murder.’
“I am begging all the parents that lost their children at the funfair. They should forgive us. It wasn’t intentional. I am ready to visit them and apologize. We didn’t k!ll anybody. We never got to the venue till today,” she said emotionally.
Olori Naomi and others involved in organizing the funfair are currently charged with various offences and remain in detention until further notice.
While an investigation is ongoing surrounding the funfair tragedy that claimed about 35 lives, Naomi’s mother’s appeal highlights the family’s efforts to mend relationships with the grieving parents.
