Olori Naomi’s sister shuts down rumours of ex-queen’s release
Ogunseyi Similoluwa, sister of Olori Naomi debunks rumours suggesting the ex-queen, along with Hamzat Oriyomi and others, have been released from Agodi prison.
This came following viral reports stating that they’d been released following their arrest in connection with the Ibadan tragedy which claimed 35 lives.
Debunking the rumour, the ex-queen’s sister, Similoluwa took to her Instagram story to clarify the reports of their release, affirming that it was false.
She wrote:
“There has been rumor that my sister [Olori Naomi], Alhaji Oriyomi, and the principal have been released. It’s a lie from the pit of hell. Please disregard it. They are still very much in Agodi Correctional Center. Thank you.”
A similar update was published on the embattled ex-queen’s Instagram story, stating, “The rumor that Queen Naomi, Alhaji Oriyomi and the Principal has been released is a lie Please disregard it.”
The statement comes amidst widespread speculation surrounding the high-profile case, which has drawn significant attention due to the individuals involved.
Despite the rumours, Similoluwa’s update reaffirms that those arrested remain in custody at the Agodi Correctional Center, as investigations into the tragedy continue.
