Man laments as his dog passes away after eating food brought to him by a lady he refuses to date
A man narrates how his dog passed away after he gave them food which was brought for him by a Ghanaian lady who he refuses to date, shares shocking details.
This is contained in a post he made available on his page via a popular social media platform, X formally Twitter.
For illustration purpose.
He revealed that recently, he traveled to Ghana for the holidays, hoping to reconnect with old friends after a long time away.
During his visit, he met a woman named Kiki at Labadi Beach.
After a brief conversation and exchanging contacts, she offered him a ride home.
The two had a flirtatious evening, and one thing led to another, ending in a one-night stand.
However, things quickly took a strange turn, as Kiki later professed her love for him and even showed up at his house crying, claiming her boyfriend had beaten her.
Despite the drama, the man tried to distance himself from the situation, but Kiki continued to send him messages. A week later, she appeared at his gate with food and whisky as an apology.
Reluctantly, he accepted the items but refused to let her inside.
Frustrated, he gave the food to his dogs, only to later find them foaming at the mouth and severely ill. When he rushed them to the vet, he was devastated to learn that they had died from poisoning.
Shocked by the turn of events, he realized the food Kiki had brought him had likely been tainted.
Fearing for his own safety, he immediately booked a flight back home, vowing never to engage in such reckless encounters again.
FULL STATEMENT:
“Somewhere around December 2019, I decided to go to Ghana to spend Christmas and see friends because I’d been away for far too long.”
“I arrived on the 3rd of December, and the plan was to return on the 2nd of January. So, as an economic person, I stayed in my parent’s house… no apartment wahala. On Friday, my friends and I went to Labadi beach to chill and enjoy the breeze a little.”
“I left the pack and decided to take a stroll. While walking, this girl and I locked eyes, and I found her to be pretty, so I approached her, asked her name, chatted a little, and we exchanged contacts. She asked where I lived, and I said North Legon.”
“She said she lived in Madina, so she could give me a ride home if I didn’t mind, and I was like that would be cool. I went back to the pack and told them I’d gotten a ride home, so I’d be leaving. A little teasing here and there, but I left them .”
“So this girl’s name is Kiki, and while riding home, we were jamming to some crazy playlist. I even asked her to send me the playlist… it was crazy.”
“We finally got to my house, and I thanked her and said goodbye. This girl said, “Won’t you invite me in? I thought we were friends. I felt bad and opened the gate for her to come in with her car.”
“After, she came to the hall, I offered her water, but she insisted she wanted something hard, so I poured her whisky and added ice. I poured some for myself, and we started chatting. Her phone rang several times, and she ignored it, later putting it on silent. I didn’t want to intrude, so I didn’t bother to find out who was calling.
“The conversation got naughty, and one thing led to the other, and we began to kiss and have sex. I was so pissed with myself because why the hell would I have raw sex with a complete stranger? What if I got an STI?”
“The next day, this girl started telling me how much she loves me. Girl!! You just met me, and how can you suddenly be in love? Maybe the sex was good, but it doesn’t mean you should fall that quick.”
“I had to tell her I love her too, charleyyy. Fast forward, she dressed up and went to her house. Late in the evening, I received a call from an unknown number, and this guy was ranting and asking what happened between Kiki and me.”
“I asked him how it was his concern, and he said he was Kiki’s boyfriend. I was shocked but didn’t care, so I asked him to ask his girlfriend what happened and told him never to call my line.
“The next morning, I heard a continuous knock on my gate, so I went out to open, only to see Kiki standing there crying, asking me to let her in.”
“I asked her what was wrong and what happened. She said her boyfriend beat her, and I asked her where her car was. She said it was for the boyfriend, and he had taken it back.”
“I was like, oh, okay, and I told her I didn’t want any trouble, so I couldn’t let her in. She was insisting, and I told her if she enters, I’ll call the dogs on her. She was forcing herself in, so I called the dogs, and she had to retreat fast.”
“Then, I locked the gate and went back inside the house. This girl started sending me weird messages and texts… girl, I just met you for a day, and things happened. Just move on. I still have those texts to this day. I never replied to her and neither did I pick her calls.
After a week, I went to check for STIs, and to the glory of God, I wasn’t infected with any.”
“Something strange happened. When I got back from the hospital, this Kiki girl was standing at my gate holding a paper bag. She said she brought me food and whisky just to say sorry. I said no thank you, but she insisted, so I took it and asked if I wouldn’t let her in.”
“I said no and closed the gate. I was feeling like eating the food because I was pissed, so I gave the food to the dogs and put the whisky in the alcohol cabinet.”
“An hour later, these dogs were barking crazily, so I went to check what was wrong, only to see the dogs lying down foaming from their mouths.”
“I quickly ordered an Uber and took them to the vet, only to be told they were dead, and the possible cause was poisoning… poisoning?? Eeiihh, bro!! I almost died!!! I almost died!!! I brought my flight forward and flew out the next two days and vowed never to do Detty again.”
