Police inspector found dead in hotel room after alleged sex marathon
Inspector Lawal Ibrahim, a police officer, has been found dead in a hotel room in Abuja following what was described as a sex marathon.
According to reports, the officer met a woman identified as Maryam Abba online about three months ago. Last week, he invited her to Palasa Hotel in Abuja.

The pair reportedly engaged in sexual activity in the evening, throughout the night, and again in the early hours of the morning.
After the morning session, Inspector Lawal reportedly experienced breathing difficulties and became unresponsive.
Maryam attempted to revive him by sprinkling water on his face but when her efforts failed, she alerted the hotel manager.
The hotel management immediately contacted the police. Upon their arrival, the officers found Lawal lifeless in the room. He was later confirmed dead at the Abuja Teaching Hospital.
Items recovered from the scene included watermelon, a sexual enhancement drug, and a phone charger.
Maryam has since been arrested, and investigations into the circumstances of the officer’s death are ongoing.
The police are yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
