Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, West Ham battle for Ademola Lookman
Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and West Ham United are reportedly in a transfer race to sign Ademola Lookman.
According to Football Insider, a Premier League return is a strong possibility for the Atalanta forward, with Nottingham Forest and Newcastle leading the chase.
West Ham are also interested but face a disadvantage due to their inability to offer Champions League football next season.
Forest, currently third in the Premier League, may have to break their transfer record surpassing the £35 million spent on Elliott Anderson to land Lookman.
His versatility in playing on either flank, as a center forward or a playmaker makes him a valuable asset.
The Nigerian international has made 50 goal contributions in 110 matches since joining Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022.
However, tensions with manager Gian Piero Gasperini over a missed penalty in the Champions League have fueled speculation about a summer exit.
