Robert Lewandowski has reaffirmed his resolve to reach 100 goals for Barcelona, after his double against Girona.

The two goals on Sunday restored his lead over Kylian Mbappe in the race for La Liga’s Pichichi award.

The 36-year-old netted twice in Barcelona’s 4-1 victory, bringing his tally to 97 goals for the club since his arrival.

With 25 league goals this season and 38 across all competitions, the Polish striker remains a crucial figure in Barcelona’s title charge.

While his ongoing battle with Mbappe for top scorer honours dominates headlines, Lewandowski insists his true focus is on team success and reaching his personal milestone.

“Reaching 100 goals for Barcelona is one of my dreams,” he said after the match. “I feel fantastic physically, and I know I can achieve it soon.”

With crucial fixtures ahead, including a Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid, Lewandowski is eager to hit the century mark for the Catalan side.
