“I was in love” – Joke Silva opens up about 20 years age gap between her and Olu Jacobs
Veteran actress Joke Silva has opened up on why she married her husband, Olu Jacobs, despite 20 20-year age difference.
During an interview on the Leadership Podcast, Joke Silva disclosed that she married her husband when she was 24 and he was in his mid-40s.

When asked why she got married to a man far older than her, the actress disclosed that she was madly in love with Mr Jacobs.
“I was in love with him… He was just a gorgeous person. I remember how my sister pulled me aside and said Joke this is the man to take to daddy”.
According to her, her father had an issue with the fact that her husband, Olu Jacobs was far older than her. But her mother gave her support to her.
“I was in love with him… He was just a gorgeous person.”
