Godson, a close associate to Grammy award-winning artist, Wizkid, has revealed why the singer canceled his upcoming US tour shows
Recall that the internet was thrown into concern and speculation following Wizkid’s cancellation of some upcoming tour dates, which included Atlanta, GA (State Farm Arena on June 5, 2025), New York, NY (Madison Square Garden on June 7, 2025), and Houston, TX (Toyota Center on June 19, 2025).
However, the reason behind the cancellation remains unknown, with reports suggesting it stemmed from low ticket sales.
In a recent development, Hudson, a close associate to Wizkid, has shed light on the cancellation.
In a Q&A session, a concerned fan asked why Wizkid’s upcoming tour was canceled.
“Please why did WizKid cancelled his shows?. Shed more light”.The fan wrote.
In response, Godson stated that Wizkid is still grieving his mother’s death, Jane Dolapo, leaving him unsupported, which he described as a heartbreaking reality.
“Add him to prayers personally, I think that nigga still grieving and nobody is helping him achieve this sad”,He stated.
