Enugu brothers demanding financial settlement from father on roof rescued by residents

Two brothers in Enugu allegedly climbed onto the roof of their father’s house and refused to come down until he settled them financially.

The incident was shared in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE.

According to the post, the brothers climbed onto the roof of their father’s home and threatened to burn the building if their demands were not met.

A video circulating online shows residents intervening and rescuing the brothers.

In the footage, a man is seen using a ladder to reach one of the brothers on the rooftop and coax him back inside.

A pick-up truck, accompanied by security personnel, was also present to take the two individuals away from the scene.

The community’s prompt action helped bring the situation under control.
