Osimhen turns down Saudi millions, demands €15m Salary to remain in Europe
Victor Osimhen has reiterated his desire to remain in Europe, turning down multiple lucrative offers from Saudi Pro League clubs as he sets his sights on a move to a top European side.
According to La Repubblica, the Napoli striker is demanding a salary of €15 million per year, as he weighs his next move.
Despite being under contract with Napoli until 2026, Osimhen is no longer in new manager Antonio Conte’s plans and is expected to depart this summer.
Saudi giants Al Hilal remain the most aggressive suitor, reportedly offering the Nigerian international a staggering €40 million annual salary.
However, Osimhen has rejected all proposals from the Middle East, prioritizing sporting ambition over financial gain.
Galatasaray have emerged as a serious contender and have made contact, but the former Lille forward is believed to favour a move to the English Premier League.
Liverpool and other European heavyweights have been linked, but no formal offers have been lodged.
Al Hilal, undeterred by Osimhen’s stance, are still pushing and are willing to sell either Marcos Leonardo or Aleksandar Mitrović to accommodate the Super Eagles striker.
