Juventus are reportedly prepared to offer Manchester United a swap deal involving Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz in a bid to facilitate the transfer of winger Jadon Sancho.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A side is exploring two approaches to secure Sancho’s services this summer.

First is a direct player swap with Luiz or a cash bid of €25 million plus performance-based bonuses.

Sancho, who spent the 2024–25 season on loan at Chelsea, is not in United’s plans moving forward.

The club are actively seeking to offload the England international to raise funds for new acquisitions under head coach Ruben Amorim.

Chelsea opted against making Sancho’s stay permanent, and Juventus have now emerged as frontrunners for his signature.

However, wage demands remain a sticking point. Sancho is seeking a salary of €8 million per season, while Juventus are only willing to offer between €6–7 million, on par with recent signing Jonathan David.

The Turin-based club also hopes to reduce their wage bill further by offloading Dusan Vlahović, whose €12 million annual salary could be redistributed to cover both Sancho and David.
