Galatasaray have submitted a revised offer to Napoli for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with both clubs reportedly reaching a verbal agreement for a €75 million transfer fee.

Following the rejection of an earlier €70 million bid, Galatasaray returned with an improved proposal structured as €40 million in cash and €35 million payable in instalments over three years, per Fabrizio Romano.

Crucially, the Turkish champions have agreed to provide a formal bank guarantee to back the instalment payments, one of Napoli’s key conditions in negotiations.

Osimhen, who reportedly chose Galatasaray over a more lucrative offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal, is now expected to undergo a medical in Istanbul if Napoli approve the submitted financial guarantees after due diligence.

The 26-year-old had a standout loan spell at Galatasaray last season, scoring 26 league goals and playing a crucial part in the club’s domestic double.

He is now being brought back on a permanent basis to lead the team’s domestic title defence and boost their European campaign following last season’s Europa League exit.

Final confirmation of the transfer is pending Napoli’s formal review and approval of the bank guarantee document.
