Despite scoring 328 in JAMB, man offered unexpected course by UNIZIK after applying for Medicine
An aspirant of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), with an aggregate JAMB score of 328, has been offered an unexpected course despite his impressive mark.
The aspirant, identified as Amalawa Moses, shared a series of screenshots revealing his applied course and the course he was eventually offered by the university.

The admission offer showed he applied for Medicine, but the university offered him Applied Biochemistry instead.
According to his JAMB registration slip, he applied to Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, as his second choice.
It would be recalled that UNIZIK made headlines after a female student assaulted a male lecturer, sparking widespread outrage online.
The student, Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious, a 300-level History and International Studies student, assaulted Dr. Chukwudi Okoye, a lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts and Film Studies.
The incident erupted after the male lecturer interrupted her, while she was recording a TikTok video in the university’s corridor.
The viral video showed the student biting the lecturer, tearing his clothes, and scratching his face.
However, the university management swung into action by forming a committee to investigate the incident.
Subsequently, the institution expelled Precious for gross misconduct and violating the university’s disciplinary regulations.
