“I burst cry” – Doctor cries out over tax deduction from his salary next year
A medical practitioner has taken to social media, revealing how much will be deducted from his salary in 2026.
Earlier, Taiwo Oyedele, chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, announced that the new tax reforms will take effect in Nigeria from 2026.
He announced this in an interview with Arise TV on October 16, 2025.
Medical Doctor Cries Out
The medical doctor identified with the Facebook handle, Onyedika Justice disclosed that he burst into tears over the amount that would be deducted from his salary next year.
In his post, which has left social media buzzing, he stated that the tax reforms will end tribalism in Nigeria.
His post reads, “I just checked my tax starting from next year,i just burst cry.Na All these tribalism go end next yearyoruba oh,Igbo oh,hausa oh,una go pay tax”.
