Amuwo-Odofin Stands Together Against Violence

Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, hosted a special peace and security meeting to address concerns surrounding the proposed national protest on August 1st, 2024. The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including:

Security formations (Police, LNSC, and NSDC)

Community Development Committee (CDC)

Resident Association Chairmen

Youth Leaders

The agenda focused on rallying security around the community to prevent potential unrest and ensure a peaceful environment during the protest.
